I feel like the best way to get to know someone is to sit them down and drill them with questions. Just one after the other until your psychological profile is complete (kidding!). In all seriousness, I’m not a great fan of talking about myself but in order to capture who I am I’ve taken a list of 20 questions to give you an insight into me. Feel free to ask me more as I’m a semi open book.
What’s your Favourite Book? Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Who wouldn’t love a romance, dysfunctional family, social hierarchy and an opinionated woman? All wrapped up perfectly in bonnets and long flowy dresses.
What’s your favourite ice cream flavor? I can never go past vanilla but, maybe add heaps of Milo on top and you’ve got yourself a winner.
What’s your most embarrassing childhood memory? Definitely the time I went to hospital because I stuck skittles up my nose! I was going to town on a bag of skittles at home, I remember I was wrapped up in this incredibly itchy bright yellow blanket. I was shovelling multiple skittles in my mouth when I came up with the idea to fit more in at once. I stuck a few up my nose and next thing you know they’re stuck and my Nan is trying to get them out with a bobby pin. So after the doctor got a good chuckle I was sent home with strict instructions that food only goes in your mouth. Obviously I am still obsessed with skittles but now know my limits.
What are your 3 Favourite Movies?
- Lord of the Rings trilogy
- Back to the future trilogy
- V for Vendetta
What’s the most beautiful place you’ve ever been? Rome, I’ve been there twice and it’s my favourite place in the world. Honestly, I could be swayed very easily with the promise of pasta, pizza and wine.
What accomplishment are you most proud of? Marrying Anthony, he’s my favourite person, best friend and honestly as sappy as this sounds I am truly lucky to have met such a kind soul to call my partner.
Who would you like to live like for a day? The Queen, I would strut around with my pose of corgis by my side and sip tea all afternoon. In all seriousness though I’d probably let the power go to my head and they wouldn’t pass mandatory corgi’s for all like I would want.
If you could have any animal as a pet, what would they be? Hands down a red panda. They are the cutest and cuddliest looking animals out there. I love all the GIFs of them being surprised, I’m easily startled so I have people send me them.
When you’re having a bad day, what do you do to make yourself feel better? Throw on my PJs, grab some sugar-free chocolate and watch a trashy reality show.
Using one word, how would you describe your family? Spaghetti.
Who is the kindest person you know? My Nan, she is such a kind and caring person. She’s honestly the person I look up to the most, her volunteer work and the effort she will go to help others is something I have always admired.
What is the scariest movie you’ve ever seen? Paranormal activity. I hate any scary movies that have ghosts in it, I can’t sleep after them.
Who’s your celebrity crush? Matt Damon, there’s just something so genuine about him.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? I really would love to go to America for our honeymoon. I’d love to do a big road trip going through the states and eat everything while seeing all the sites.
If you could shop for free at one store, which would you choose? Chanel, I would be in handbag heaven.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? A nurse, I really wanted to help sick people and of course wear the hat with the red cross. I now realise sadly that isn’t want nurses wear and gave up that career goal because of it.
What’s your favourite day of the week? Saturday, you’re just getting into the groove of the weekend and you still have Sunday to look forward to.
Who would play you in a movie about your life? Anne Hathaway. I know she looks nothing like me but I like her style and she seems like a rad actress.
What’s the one food you could never bring yourself to eat? Brussels sprouts, tiny weird lettuce like vegetables don’t intrigue me enough to eat.
What’s your pet peeve? Personal space invaders. My friends can attest to this, especially in Bali when everyone seemed to be moving in one big hugging group *shudders*.
